Biography
After his M.A. degree in Communications, Management and Sports Science Noel worked in marketing for a major sporting goods brands in Germany. Before he became an entrepreneur he joined one of the worlds biggest advertisement agency networks and subsequently worked in marketing at a major ecological-fashion brand in europe. Today, Noel is the CEO of KarmaKonsum, a german based agency for green market communication. Their aim is to influence economy for the better: As consultant he advises well known companies in the field of sustainable products to improve their marketing and brand management through on- and offline approaches. As event-manager Karmakonsum host Germanys’ leading green think-tank and trade show to develop “a new spirit in business”. As a trendscout Noel publishes studies with market-research institutes as AC Nielsen or Sinus SocioVision on LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability).
Noel lives in Frankfurt (Germany), but he will work on a MICT phd (promotor Prof. Dr. Lieven De Marez) that focuses on worth of mouth in user-centered innovation. The aim is doing research about how companies can involve users in the development process and how those users can be later propagandists when the product is launched.
