Evelien D'heer
Biography
Evelien D’heer holds a Bachelor degree in Marketing from Hogeschool Ghent. In 2009 she obtained a Master degree in Communication Sciences at Ghent University. Her dissertation deals with privacy issues and e-government. The research provided inside in the way municipalities en cities in Flanders inform citizens when they collect personal information through their websites.
After graduation Evelien worked as assistant/researcher in the Marketing (consumer behavior) department of Ghent University. The project she was assigned to, ended January 2001.
Since March 2011 Evelien joined the MICT-team as a junior researcher. She is involved in the IWT-project SMIF (Smart Media In Flanders).
