Linear+

LINEAR + (part of the larger GENERATIONS project) focuses on energy technology, where the effort goes especially out to hard- and software systems to optimize the energy flow and to energy consumption. A great deal of attention goes to the use of electrical interfaces and control aspects of the electrical distribution systems. This Flemish project, supported by IWT, is a breakthrough for the transition to smart grids and smart distributed generation.

VITO (Flemish Institution for Technological Research – www.vito.be) is the project coordinator and MICT is responsible for the user survey and the potential estimation.

Duration of the project

The project runs from 01/01/2009 - 31/12/2014.
